The LArge black pig breed

a heritage grazing pig

We raise a heritage breed of pig that is known for taste and hardiness with the added benefit of being good mothers that are efficient for pork production. Our pigs are raised on pasture and have large foraging pens in the forest surrounding the farm.

The Large Black pig has lean micro marbled meat for a moist

product whether cooked on the grill or in the oven. The meat is slightly darker and has old world flavor.
